Fairfield-Suisun Sewer District wants to remind you that washing your car in the driveway or street puts extra pollution like soap, metals, oil, and dirt into our local waterways.  Try washing your car at a commercial carwash, which routes dirty washwater through a treatment system to be cleaned.  Or, wash your car over a surface like gravel or grass so that dirty water is absorbed and cleaned by filtering it through soil.  Help us keep our waterways clean!
