Consider choosing native, drought tolerant plants for your landscaping instead of grass lawns and other plants that require frequent watering. Before the dry season begins, take time to check that your outdoor water faucets, hoses, and irrigation systems are not leaking. Replace fixture washers that don't make a tight seal. Instead of using sprinklers, consider drip water systems, timers, and hand watering your plants so you don't waste one drop. Use a broom and dust pan instead of hose water to clean your patios, sidewalks and driveways. Help Fairfield-Suisun Sewer District reduce urban runoff through water conservation.
