Join the Fairfield-Suisun Sewer District in celebrating Earth Day:

Creek Cleanup at three locations and an Outreach Booth at the Fairfield Civic Center.

Booth at Fairfield Civic Center

If you plan to attend Fairfield Civic Center to celebrate Earth Day, stop by our booth!  We’ll have games and give-a-ways, as well as helpful information on how you can help keep our earth clean.

Creek Cleanup

This year’s cleanup sites are located at Lower Ledgewood Creek in Fairfield, Lower Union Ave. Creek in Suisun City, and Suisun City Waterfront with Grizzly Waters Kayaking.

It is recommended to wear appropriate clothing for heavy brush:  closed-toe shoes, long pants and long-sleeved shirts.  Although supplies will be made available, feel free to bring your own garden gloves, wagon to help haul trash back to the site, buckets, trash pickers, water, bug repellent, sunscreen and other preferred items.

All volunteers will need to provide a signed waiver prior to participating in the cleanup.  If participating at the Suisun City Waterfront, kayakers must sign an additional Grizzly Waters Kayaking waiver.  Kayak and stand up paddleboard rental fees are waived for volunteers during the cleanup on a first come first serve basis with priority to reservations.  Participants must meet rental requirements and follow all safety rules.
